It is said that when the landlord was getting this banyan tree cut, red water came out of it, after which the cutting of the tree was stopped. During the excavation, Shiva Linga was found from the ground which was in a damaged condition. Then Baba came in a dream to the landlord and told that my excavation has been done by a poor man, so establish it in the name of Garib Nath. Then the temple was built here in the name of the Garib Nath.
