Shivling Lepakshi Temple
with Nag Lingam Sheshnag which is also famous as Veerabhadra Temple
The seven-faced lingam is the main feature of the Lepakshi temple. There are total 5 lingas in the entire Virbhadra temple. Out of which 2 are outside the temple and 3 are inside the temple. Out of that, this is the linga sitting on the 7-faced Shesha snake of special importance. The second linga outside is seated behind the temple. Which also remains the center of attraction. The linga is established under the hood of an umbrella 7 snake. It is said about this lingam that when the artists were waiting for their mother for lunch. Then during this time this Nag Lingam statue was constructed. The Lingam statue is carved out of a single stone.
